Post Earth Pioneers
NASA has announced that they will attempt to establish a colony on Mars in the 2030s. Today’s students will witness this and some could be involved in the development of this or subsequent colonies. This unit challenges students to develop an understanding of the needs of life on Earth and then apply problem solving skills to develop solutions for living in other places in the Solar System.
